TOP was launching Blooming Pleasures, a new detergent with a long-lasting fragrance. The task was to create a TVC that appealed to the target market—Malay women.
Based on romantic dramas consumed by this demographic, we came up with a concept that is inspired by romance, specifically romantic perfume ads. Thus, the TVC is a story about a woman who awaits to be reunited with her prince charming. Even after a long time the Blooming Pleasures scent lingers, and wearing her favourite dress again makes her feel like she’s walking through a romantic garden of roses.
