Maybank partnered up with IMAX to elevate the cinema experiences of movie-goers to the next level. To honour this rewarding partnership, IMAX theatres were renamed to Maybank-IMAX and Intigus came into the picture to create an exciting announcement video.
So how do we get movie-goers to pay attention as if they are already watching a movie? The answer is – A 25-second space adventure video commercial that goes on to reveal the Maybank logo.
We also convinced the client to drop their all-important yellow bar CI to complement the video with a full page, full colour spread in a press ad that’s designed to look like a real-life movie poster, tying the campaign together at full force. Besides being launched at theatres, this partnership video was also listed on YouTube and garnered over 250,000 views within the 1st month of the launch.
